Yes. The arms are soft silicone and they hum in place, so they don’t wind hair up. With very long or thick curls, part your hair into two sections, lower Halo slowly until the tips touch your scalp, and let it sit rather than moving it around.

There’s a low motor hum you’ll hear in a quiet room. The built-in music is optional and has its own button, so you can keep it off.

It charges over USB-C and the cable is in the box. Every session stops at 15 minutes on its own, so one charge covers several evenings.
